Our technical team gave presentations of our sizing, pretreatment, dyeing, printing, finishing and miscellaneous products. Along with explaining the ideal recipe, the fitting solutions for textile problems were also discussed.

BASF Experts presented the newest Dyeing, Finishing and Coating products/process for the textile industry. Anand International showed their reactive dyes and shade range. Sensient Traditional demonstrated digital inks & color sublimation printing.

The Masterbatch Workshop we held in our Cairo head office. The presentations were held by Mr. Hans Jürgen and Mr. Daniel Bauwens.

The 10^th Textile workshop took place on March 2007 at Concorde El Salam Heliopolis (Zurich Hall) in Heliopolis. The Attendees were informed about BASF Brilliant solutions for textile problems, as well as economical processes & products for all segments of the textile industry.

UNIDO, BASF and GB Chem organized a seminar at Semiramis Hotel. The main objective of this initiative was to raise the competitiveness of the Egyptian Textile Industry through Eco-Efficiency by qualifying committed companies for entering the supply chain of selected European Buyers/Retailers. The cooperation between BASF and the UNIDO Cleaner Production Network, the ENCPC, aimed to increase the visibility of the Egyptian industry under the umbrella of UN Global Compact.
The event had three main components: Matching Egyptian Textile Companies with European Buyers/Retailers in small working groups to initiate concrete cooperation projects, a technical seminar on environmental aspects of textile chemicals and the eco-efficiency concept and tool and the training of national experts (selected textile companies, CP service providers in the field of textiles, ENCPC staff) on the eco-efficiency concept (assessment, software tool, chemicals database developed by BASF).The EE-software served as a tool for gap analysis and systematic improvement..
